New technology taking the place of chrome plating with the ability to chrome plate metal as well as non-metal surfaces (plastic, fiberglass, wood, virtually any surface). Used in a wide range of industries chrome plating has become increasingly difficult in recent years. Conventional chrome plating has ...

Carpets, floor liners or floor mats are among the most useful car accessories. Especially for those who drive toward and back from their work or school everyday, a vehicle is more than just an ordinary means of transportation, it is their temporary home on the road and their regular companion. Thus, one would want to keep ...

You can do your part to.

Posted on April 29th, 2012
If you know me then you already know how I like to talk about the preservation of the classic American cars and muscle cars, I can't emphasize enough how important it is to keep these cars on the roads, so we have a presence of them around. Isn't it enough that our country is getting inundated by imports, and the fact that people are always saying how much better other countries are building cars then we do, well without Henry Ford none of them would be building cars as we know them today, and ...

Posted on April 28th, 2012
In spite of reported over-all declining sales in SUVs, Jeep has seen its two largest entries into this Auto segment enjoying surprising results for the month of October 2005. As reported in the article "Topic: Big trouble for big SUVs: Sales and prices of used-utes continue to slide" in an edition of the Automotive News, "Prices are falling, and they are falling fast," Webb says. China's Chery Automotive Group is getting set to import as many as five vehicles into the US starting in the summer of 2007. These 2008 models are reportedly going to be cheaper than competing models in their respective classes, undercutting some models by as much as $10,000 per car. I have been doing a little investigating and have learned more about the Chery QQ, the three door compact that will retail for just $6995. Hold onto your hats as I read off the long list of standard features ...

Oxygen Sensor Solutions

Posted on April 26th, 2012
Virtually every car produced since the early 1980s contains a sensor that regulates oxygen flow to your engine. The oxygen sensor works by sending information to your vehicle's engine management system to help your car fun efficiently as well as to reduce noxious emissions. When an oxygen sensor fails your vehicle will run less effectively and devour more fuel. Thus, when oxygen sensor failure has been determined the sensor must then be replaced, a costly proposition if you rely on a garage to ...

How The Jeep Got It's Name

Posted on April 25th, 2012
/p> Where did the name come from? Not from the original designer and builder, the Bantam Car Company. It wasn't Willys, the famous manufacturer of the Willys MB, either. Ford didn't pick the name when it was making the GPW, and the U.S. Military never designated the term either. Truth be told, no one knows for sure just how the name "Jeep" came about, but the one common thread is that all of the theories relate to a sort of general population adoption of the term. There are a number of ...

The only thing American about the compact Aveo automobile is it's Chevrolet name. Built in Korea [or in China] by GM Daewoo, the Aveo is America's price champion coming in at just under ten thousand dollars. That's right; you can still purchase a new car in the USA for under ten thousand dollars excluding taxes, dealer prep, and destination charges. Let's take a closer look at Chevy's bargain basement people hauler. Available as either a four door sedan or as a five door hatchback, the ...
